Watson thriving on and off course
The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play tournament was only two days old, but Bubba Watson’s already won.
Not just his first two rounds, which he has in grand style. He positively smoked Scott Piercy on a wind-blown Thursday, crushing him 4 and 3 to put him ever closer to Saturday’s round of 16. In his 33 holes the past two days, he’s posted nine birdies with only one bogey, that coming Wednesday.
But in Watson’s world, he’s already a big winner. And golf wins, too.
