2017 Dodge Grand Car­a­van

Start­ing at $25,595, the 2017 Dodge Grand Car­a­van seats seven com­fort­ably and is avail­able in four mod­els: the Grand Car­a­van SE, the Grand Car­a­van SE Plus, the Grand Car­a­van SXT, and the Grand Car­a­van GT.

The SE gets an EPA-es­ti­mated 17 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the high­way. It has a 3.6L Pen­tas­tar V6 en­gine that puts out 283 horse­power.

The sec­ond and third rows of seats fold down to give im­mense stor­age op­tions, con­vert­ing this pas­sen­ger can into a cargo van with ease. In the front seats, you’ll find stor­age, too -- a con­sole to hold the lit­tle things that a driver and pas­sen­ger might find use­ful. An ob­ser­va­tion mir­ror gives the driver a view of pas­sen­gers even in the third row.

Kel­ley Blue Book gave the 2017 Dodge Grand Car­a­van a rat­ing of 7.5 out of 10. It got high marks in com­fort and con­ve­nience, as well as de­sign (both 7.6); it also re­ceived a 7.5 for value.

2017 Chrysler Paci­fica

Start­ing at $28,995, the 2017 Chrysler Paci­fica mini­van is an IIHs Top Safety Pick+ and win­ner of the 2017 Kel­ley Blue Book Best Buy Award.

With seat­ing for up to eight, this mini­van is avail­able in Lim­ited, Tour­ing L Plus, Tour­ing L, Tour­ing Plus, Tour­ing, and LX trim lev­els.

The LX is he base model and gets an EPA-es­ti­mated 18 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the high­way. Stan­dard features in­clude ac­tive noise can­cel­la­tion to make your ride qui­eter, Stow ‘n Go seat­ing, and an avail­able Park Video Rear Backup Cam­era. This mini­van makes it eas­ier to get into the back row, too, with easy-tilt seat­ing that lets you ac­cess the third row of seats by lift­ing a lever.

Kel­ley Blue Book gave the 2017 Chrysler Paci­fica LX a rat­ing of 9.3 out of 10. It got high rat­ings in com­fort and con­ve­nience (9.6), driv­ing dy­nam­ics (9.5), and de­sign (9.4).

2017 GMC Sa­vana

Start­ing at $33,140, the 2017 GMC Sa­vana pas­sen­ger van seats up to 15 in­di­vid­u­als in com­fort and style. It is of­fered in 2500 and 3500 des­ig­na­tions.

This van is avail­able in two wheel­bases and two seat­ing con­fig­u­ra­tions, for 12 or 15 pas­sen­gers. Drivers can choose from three en­gines: the stan­dard 4.8L V8 en­gine, the op­tional Vortec 6.0L V8 VVT, or the op­tional 2.8L Du­ra­max Turbo-Diesel. The 6.0L 3 en­gine of­fers 373 lb-ft. of torque and is flex fuel com­pat­i­ble. The Du­ra­max en­gine of­fers 369 lb-ft. of torque and has an au­to­matic trans­mis­sion.

This van can be con­verted to in­clude a wheel­chair lift, as well. There is a swing-out door avail­able to make load­ing the pas­sen­gers and cargo into the van a breeze.

Stan­dard features in­clude power door locks, power out­lets, an AM/FM au­dio sys­tem in­clud­ing MP3 player, and rub­ber­ized vinyl floor cov­er­ing down the en­tire length of the van.

There’s an avail­able leather-wrapped steer­ing wheel with mounted au­dio con­trols, and cruise con­trol is stan­dard on the 2017 GMC Sa­vana.
