Man dies 5 days after West Baltimore shooting
A 28-year-old man shot last week in West Baltimore has died, police said. Minesh Tyler, of the 4200 block of Old Frederick Road, was shot at about 6 p.m. Tuesday while sitting in a car in the 200 block of S. Augusta Ave. in the Irvington neighborhood. Tyler was taken to a hospital. Sunday morning — five days after the shooting — Tyler died, police said. Homicide detectives are investigating. Also, police are investigating a shooting that took place early Saturday in southwest Baltimore. Police said the man told detectives he was riding a bike in the 1900 block of W. Pratt St. in the Carrollton Ridge neighborhood when he heard gunfire and realized he had been grazed in the face by a bullet. The man went home for several hours, and eventually went to a Baltimore hospital for treatment.
