Report: Ex-Raven Kruger set to sign with Saints
Just days after being waived by the Cleveland Browns, former Ravens linebacker-defensive end Paul Kruger will sign with the New Orleans Saints, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport. Kruger, 30, met with the Saints shortly after the Browns let him go. He was a second-round pick of the Ravens in 2009 and played in Baltimore four seasons. Kruger signed a five-year deal with the Browns in 2013 after a 2012 season in which he had nine sacks and helped the Ravens win a Super Bowl title. Kruger played in all 16 games for the Browns in 2015 but had just 2.5 sacks. In 2014, he had 11 sacks.
