Man charged in wife’s fa­tal shoot­ing in Fall­ston

A man was charged with fa­tally shoot­ing his wife late Wed­nes­day in Fall­ston while their three chil­dren were in the house, the Har­ford County sher­iff ’s of­fice said. Deputies went to the 2300 block of Windswept Court about 11:30 p.m., where they found Lara Mus­col­ino, 48, suf­fer­ing from gun­shot wounds to the up­per body, ac­cord­ing to a news re­lease from the sher­iff’s of­fice. Mus­col­ino died at a hospi­tal, ac­cord­ing to the re­lease from Capt. Mike Crabbs, com­man­der of the com­mu­nity ser­vices di­vi­sion of the sher­iff’s of­fice. While deputies were in­ves­ti­gat­ing, Ri­cardo Mus­col­ino, 54, of the same ad­dress turned him­self in at the sher­iff’s of­fice north­ern precinct. He was be­ing held with­out bail at the Har­ford County De­ten­tion Cen­ter, charged with first- and sec­ond-de­gree mur­der, first-de­gree as­sault and use of a firearm in the com­mis­sion of a felony, Crabbs said.
