Man charged in wife’s fatal shooting in Fallston
A man was charged with fatally shooting his wife late Wednesday in Fallston while their three children were in the house, the Harford County sheriff ’s office said. Deputies went to the 2300 block of Windswept Court about 11:30 p.m., where they found Lara Muscolino, 48, suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office. Muscolino died at a hospital, according to the release from Capt. Mike Crabbs, commander of the community services division of the sheriff’s office. While deputies were investigating, Ricardo Muscolino, 54, of the same address turned himself in at the sheriff’s office northern precinct. He was being held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center, charged with first- and second-degree murder, first-degree assault and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, Crabbs said. No attorney was listed in online court records. The children at the home were not injured, authorities said. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call 443-409-3498.
