Olympic coverage was golden

Baltimore Sun - - FROM PAGE ONE - Jim Henneman, Baltimore

Belated kudos to The Sun for giving Marylanders and their medal-winning athletes superb coverage during the recently concluded Olympic Games. In particular, a big thank you to Childs Walker for the superlative job he did. His work in the pre-and-post Olympic sections was off the charts and served as perfect bookends for his coverage in Rio (“From the opening ceremony to his final race, this was a perfect ending for Michael Phelps,” Aug. 25).

There were many great “Maryland angles” during these games, and Mr. Walker didn’t miss any of them.

He did a spectacular job. Congrats to him — and to The Sun for giving its readers and the local athletes the coverage they deserved.
