Under Armour names new North American president
Jason LaRose, a “rising star” who helped Under Armour build its online sales business internationally, has been named the company’s North American president.
The Baltimore fitness apparel and footwear brand announced Friday that LaRose replaces Matthew Mirchin, who will remain as an adviser, on Oct. 1.
LaRose joined the company in 2013, leading its e-commerce business. He became senior vice president of digital revenue in 2015. Under Armour sells 67 percent of its products wholesale, according to its 2015 annual report.
