Man, 33, shot dead overnight in E. Baltimore
A 33-year-old man is dead after being shot multiple times overnight in East Baltimore. Police said officers arrived early Sunday in the 2100 block of Kirk Ave. in the East Baltimore Midway neighborhood and found the man. Police said that medics pronounced the man dead at the scene, located just north of Greenwood Cemetery. Homicide detectives are investigating. Police also are investigating a double shooting from Sunday morning in East Baltimore — just a few blocks east of the homicide. Officers found two men shot in the 1600 block of Normal Ave. in the Darley Park neighborhood just before 11 a.m. Sunday. A 21-year-old man was shot in the buttocks, and a 24-year-old man was shot in the leg, police said. Both were taken to hospitals for treatment, and citywide shooting detectives are investigating. Later Sunday, a 19-year-old man was shot in the ankle in East Baltimore, police said. The man was found in the 2100 block of Aiken St. in the East Baltimore Midway neighborhood around 6:30 p.m., police said. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
