Scott was a role model

Baltimore Sun - - MARYLAND VOICES - Stanley S. Fine, Baltimore

I am writing this letter on behalf of the thousands of men and women who attended Johns Hopkins University and were privileged to know Bob Scott, the men’s lacrosse coach and athletic director at Hopkins for over 40 years. His record as coach and athletic director is legendary, but it was his character and personality that will be everlasting.

Bob Scott was an exemplary person and a fine human being. He was known by Hopkins athletes and students for his work ethic, integrity, caring, humility and gentlemanly but firm conduct. His interest in our well-being on and off the field and throughout our lives serves as a model for all who knew him.

Thank you, Coach, and rest in peace.
