Police arrest suspect in ‘Kit Kat’ burglaries
A man suspected in several recent burglaries in North Baltimore — dubbed the “Kit Kat’ burglaries — was arrested Monday after being injured while allegedly burglarizing a home in the Hoes Heights neighborhood, according to Baltimore police. Police responded to the 4400 block of Evans Chapel Road about 10:16 a.m. for a report of a person who had fallen from a deck, said police spokeswoman Nicole Monroe. The man was not identified. Police said they believe the man may be the same person who has prompted multiple reports in recent weeks of a man casing houses in the area and presenting a bag of Kit Kat candy bars for sale as a ruse when confronted.
