Po­lice ar­rest suspect in ‘Kit Kat’ bur­glar­ies

A man sus­pected in sev­eral re­cent bur­glar­ies in North Bal­ti­more — dubbed the “Kit Kat’ bur­glar­ies — was ar­rested Mon­day af­ter being in­jured while al­legedly bur­glar­iz­ing a home in the Hoes Heights neigh­bor­hood, ac­cord­ing to Bal­ti­more po­lice. Po­lice re­sponded to the 4400 block of Evans Chapel Road about 10:16 a.m. for a re­port of a per­son who had fallen from a deck, said po­lice spokes­woman Nicole Mon­roe. The man was not iden­ti­fied. Po­lice said they be­lieve the man may be the same per­son who has prompted mul­ti­ple re­ports in re­cent weeks of a man cas­ing houses in the area and pre­sent­ing a bag of Kit Kat candy bars for sale as a ruse when con­fronted.
