Police respond to fight at Annapolis High
Police responded to a fight between multiple students Thursday morning at Annapolis High School, police and school officials said. The fight occurred in an upstairs hallway around 7:10 a.m. Hundreds of students were in the hallway at the time preparing to attend their first classes of the day when two students began to fight, said Bob Mosier, a county schools spokesman. That fight spawned additional scuffles, Mosier said. It remained unclear how many students were involved. Anne Arundel and Annapolis police responded and quickly gained control of the situation. Multiple students were arrested. One student was taken to a hospital for a minor injury, a county police spokesman said.
