Barnes & Noble might open at North­wood Com­mons

A two-story Barnes & Noble book­store could open at a re­vi­tal­ized shop­ping cen­ter in North­east Bal­ti­more near Mor­gan Stae Univer­sity, de­vel­oper Mark Ren­baum said at a Plan­ning Com­mis­sion meet­ing on Thurs­day. The new store would be part of a long-awaited $50 mil­lion re­de­vel­op­ment of the North­wood Plaza shop­ping cen­ter, which could in­clude a gro­cery store, stu­dent apart­ments, of­fices, campus po­lice and other shop­ping. At least three of the cur­rent stores, in­clud­ing Mc­Don­ald’s, Rite Aid and Sunny’s Subs, will re­main, Ren­baum said.
