A hearing this week regarding a former Towson nursing home’s status as a historic landmark has been delayed at the request of the property’s owner, the Presbyterian Home of Maryland. County spokeswoman Ellen Kobler said a hearing Thursday before Baltimore County’s Landmarks Preservation Commission has been delayed until the commission’s next scheduled meeting Nov. 10. In May, the Presbyterian Home announced it would be leaving the Towson facility, putting the building, parts of which date to the mid-19th century, up for sale.
