Sopho­more mid­fielder Amar Se­jdic scored in the 26th minute to give the No. 1 Maryland men’s soc­cer team a 1-0 vic­tory over host No. 22 West Virginia to stay un­beaten. It was the fifth goal of the year for Se­jdic, as Maryland (10-0-2) is outscor­ing op­po­nents by a 29-7 mar­gin this sea­son. Se­nior goal­keeper Cody Nie­der­meier (Broad­neck) made a ca­reer-high eight saves to notch a fifth­straight shutout. Jake Rozhan­sky had an as­sist for Maryland, which re­turns to Big Ten Con­fer­ence play Fri­day to host Wis­con­sin at 7 p.m.
