Ho­gan calls Trump video ‘dis­grace­ful and out­ra­geous’

Maryland Gov. Larry Ho­gan said Tues­day that Don­ald Trump’s com­ments about women in a 2005 video were “dis­grace­ful and out­ra­geous.” The Repub­li­can gover­nor said this sum­mer that he would not vote for Trump, his party’s pres­i­den­tial nominee. In re­sponse to a re­porter’s ques­tion, Ho­gan said Tues­day that he has yet to de­cide whom he will write in on the Novem­ber bal­lot for pres­i­dent. Ho­gan added that he be­lieves it’s too late for Trump to drop out of the race. Early vot­ing starts in Maryland on Oct. 27 and Elec­tion Day is Nov. 8.Ho­gan also an­nounced Tues­day that a Cab­i­net sec­re­tary will be­come his chief of staff. Ho­gan ap­pointed Sam Mal­ho­tra, sec­re­tary of the Depart­ment of Hu­man Re­sources, to take over the top staff job on Oct. 26.
