The sopho­more for­ward was in­stru­men­tal in lead­ing the Ea­gles (4-1-2) to two wins last week and a re­turn to the area’s No. 1 rank­ing. Against then-No. 1 Arch­bishop Spald­ing on Oct. 4, she scored the game’s first two goals and made a key pass to set up the third as the Ea­gles took charge in an im­por­tant 3-1 win, aveng­ing their only loss of the sea­son. In a 3-0 win over Cum­ber­land Val­ley (Pa.) on Thurs­day, Dorsey sored a goal and added an as­sist. In her sec­ond var­sity sea­son, Dorsey leads McDonogh with four goals and three as­sists. Dorsey, also a stand­out lacrosse player, re­cently com­mit­ted to North Carolina, where she plans to play soc­cer and lacrosse.
