Baltimore Sun - - VARSITY - — Glenn Graham

Boys’ Latin announced Friday that Charles Franklin is its new varsity golf coach.

Franklin, who serves as Upper School co-head and director of academics, said he is excited to return to coaching. Previously, he coached junior varsity basketball at Boys’ Latin and has four years of varsity golf coaching experience at Lawrence Academy in Maine. He also coached soccer and basketball at other schools.

“I’m tremendously excited to continue the tradition of excellence within our golf program here at Boys’ Latin,” Franklin said in a written release by the school. “The boys are coming off a championship season last spring, but I’m even more impressed with the way the boys represented the school on and off the course.”

Franklin is a graduate of Amherst, where he played golf and soccer.
