69-year-old woman, man found shot to death

A man and an older woman were found fa­tally shot in­side a house in West Bal­ti­more on Mon­day af­ter­noon, po­lice said. Firefighters went to the house around 12:51 p.m. be­cause smoke alarms were go­ing off, and found the two vic­tims with gun­shot wounds to the head and face. The 69year-old woman was taken to a hospi­tal, where she was pro­nounced dead, and the man was pro­nounced dead at the scene. Nei­ther of the vic­tims have been pub­licly iden­ti­fied. Po­lice had no in­for­ma­tion on wit­nesses or sus­pects. A few hours after the homi­cide was dis­cov­ered, a group of fam­ily mem­bers hud­dled out­side the home with a homi­cide de­tec­tive. They de­clined to talk to a re­porter. The home’s en­trance was blocked with crime scene tape. Man charged in An­napo­lis dou­ble-stab­bing

A19-year-old man has been charged with stab­bing two peo­ple Sun­day night in An­napo­lis. Fer­min Gomez-Jimenez of An­napo­lis has been charged with mul­ti­ple counts, in­clud­ing at­tempted fir­stand sec­ond-de­gree mur­der, ac­cord­ing to court records. As of Mon­day, Gomez-Jimenez was await­ing an ini­tial hear­ing be­fore a Dis­trict Court com­mis­sioner, said Cpl. Amy Miguez, a city po­lice spokes­woman. De­tails sur­round­ing the dis­pute that led to the dou­ble-stab­bing re­mained vague in charg­ing doc­u­ments ob­tained Mon­day. An­napo­lis and Anne Arun­del po­lice re­sponded to the 100 block of Hillsmere Drive for a re­ports of a traf­fic ac­ci­dent with in­juries, as well as gun­shots in the area around 11:20 p.m. Sun­day, ac­cord­ing to court records. Of­fi­cers dis­cov­ered Lu­vin Ro­nan Martinez No­lasco bleed­ing be­hind a small shop­ping cen­ter, court records state. Po­lice found Gon­zalo Sanchez Guz­man nearby in the 700 block of An­napo­lis Neck Road also bleed­ing, court records state. The ages and ad­dresses of the men were not in­cluded in court records. The men were taken to Mary­land Shock Trauma Cen­ter with life-threat­en­ing in­juries, po­lice said. A hospi­tal spokesper­son said both men were in crit­i­cal con­di­tion Mon­day af­ter­noon.
