Office Depot reopens remodeled store in Bel Air
Office Depot unveiled a new store format designed to appeal to smallbusiness owners at its Bel Air location. The office supply retailer said the redesign, dubbed “Store of the Future,” aims to meet the needs of consumers and small-business customers alike.
The store reopened last week after the remodel. Office Depot, which has 15 Baltimore-area locations, is unveiling redesigned stores in a select number of markets across the U.S., said a spokesman for the retailer.
The new format features improved technology services; in-store small-business experts who can consult on workspace layout, marketing, information technology and other issues; and a “store within a store” for Dell or HP products. The redesigned stores also have new print and copy services sections, improved navigation with clearer signage designating sections such as “furniture” and “ink and toner,” and products arranged in a new “good, better, best,” system.
