Phelps confirms he’s taken the plunge

Baltimore Sun - - SPORTS -

After keeping the news secret since June (and denying it at least twice this week), Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps finally acknowledged it. The Baltimore-area native and fiancee Nicole Johnson are married. A shirtless Phelps signed on to Facebook Live on Thursday night to check in with viewers while golfing in a place he says is “not Arizona, but close” with former Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis. “You guys probably already saw the article that was posted,” Phelps said while driving a cart with Lewis in the passenger seat. “I been married for a while. Couple months. I had to keep it a secret from y’all.” TMZ first reported Wednesday that the couple secretly wedded. They had been engaged since February 2015. Phelps also said: “Baby No. 2 might be coming soon.”
