Comey showed integrity

Baltimore Sun - - FROM PAGE ONE - Warren Hartenstine, Havre de Grace

Having made a conclusive statement under oath and later learning that statement was inaccurate, FBI Director James Comey immediately notified those who had sworn him to speak the truth that new information may now compromise what he knew to be the facts at the time (“Comey puts his thumb on the scale of the election,” Oct. 30). Rather than a thumb on the scale, acting on behalf of personal and organizational integrity is for me a refreshing act of honor far too rare in our contemporary political life.
