The se­nior run­ning back-safety turned in one of the most dom­i­nant per­for­mances of the sea­son in spark­ing the Pan­thers’ 55-48 over­time win over Riverdale Bap­tist on Fri­day. Pat­ter­son ac­cu­mu­lated 558 yards and had an in­ter­cep­tion, two sacks, a forced fum­ble and a fum­ble re­cov­ery. He forced the fum­ble in over­time with a sack and re­cov­ered the ball to seal the vic­tory. He ran 21 times for 282 yards, caught four passes for 54 yards, re­turned two kick­offs for 124 yards and re­turned an in­ter­cep­tion 98 yards. For the sea­son, he has run 163 times for 1,857 yards and 27 touch­downs for the Pan­thers, who are 9-2 over­all and 6-0 in the Mary­land In­ter­scholas­tic Ath­letic As­so­ci­a­tion B Con­fer­ence head­ing into Satur­day night’s cham­pi­onship game against Boys’ Latin. He has com­mit­ted to play at Buf­falo.
