Po­lice search­ing for man ac­cused of killing pup­pies

Baltimore po­lice are search­ing for a 21-year-old man they said kicked and stomped four pup­pies, be­fore throw­ing them down a flight of stairs and leav­ing them in a dump­ster for dead. Po­lice have a war­rant for Don­ald Year­wood charg­ing him with 17 counts of an­i­mal cru­elty and an­i­mal abuse re­lated charges af­ter wit­nesses re­ported to po­lice the at­tack at a home in the 3700 block of 10th St. in Brook­lyn on Nov. 9. Wit­nesses told of­fi­cers they saw Year­wood kick and stomp the pup­pies be­cause they were mak­ing noise as he was try­ing to sleep. The wit­nesses told po­lice he then threw the pup­pies down a flight of stairs, while sev­eral young chil­dren watched. Year­wood then put the pup­pies in a box and left, po­lice said.
