Husband arrested in death of wife in West Baltimore
Police have arrested the husband of a woman who was found dead Sunday afternoon in the Easterwood neighborhood of West Baltimore, police said Monday. Tiffany Ruffin, 41, was found unresponsive and with trauma to her head after police went to a home in the 1700 block of Appleton St. around 2:40 p.m. Sunday after someone asked police to check on her. Medics could not resuscitate her and she was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said Monday that her husband, Charles Ruffin, 48, was taken into custody by another jurisdiction and was awaiting extradition. Police did not specify where he was arrested or what he was charged with, and court records were not available online. It could not be determined whether he had an attorney.
