Five wounded in four Bal­ti­more City shoot­ings

Bal­ti­more police are in­ves­ti­gat­ing four shoot­ings Fri­day that left five men in­jured. Of­fi­cers called to the 2500 block of W. Fair­mount Ave. in South­west Bal­ti­more at 10:40 a.m. found a man with gun­shot wounds, police said. They be­lieve he was shot in the first block of Cather­ine St. Of­fi­cers found a man with gun­shot wounds in the 1700 block of Penn­syl­va­nia Ave. in West Bal­ti­more around 2:45 p.m. De­tec­tives be­lieve that the vic­tim was shot in the 600 block of Lau­rens St. and ran to the Metro sta­tion on Penn­syl­va­nia Av­enue. Of­fi­cers called to the 2500 block of Arunah Ave. in West Bal­ti­more at 5 p.m. found two men who had been shot, one in the leg and one in the arm. Of­fi­cers called to the 3000 block of Jan­ice Ave. in South Bal­ti­more at 6:15 p.m. found a man shot in the up­per body.
