Alt-right sneers at WWII vets

Baltimore Sun - - FROM PAGE ODNE - Leslie P. Gartner, Reisterstown

Of the 405,000 American soldiers who died in World War II, 294,000 were killed by soldiers of the Third Reich. These were Nazi soldiers whose uniforms bore the swastika and who raised their arms using the Nazi salute. So one wonders why Richard B. Spencer, members of the National Policy Institute and American white supremacists of their ilk feel so smug as they emulate Hitler and the Nazi movement?

Why do they imagine themselves to be such good Americans while they trample on and desecrate the graves of those brave heroes who gave their lives to protect the United States of America? Basically, white supremacists are cowards who vandalize buildings under the cover of darkness; they are obscene traitors to our great nation.
