Let’s have a parade that shows what America is really all about

In response to Michael Cromwell’s comments that a military parade would “remind us what we have, why we have it etc.” (“Let Trump have his military parade,” Feb. 9), what we have in this treasured country is a Bill of Rights; a people who come to the aid of their fellow countrymen in time of need; people who care about the marginalized and are willing to stand up for them; and above all, people who love our way of life established by our Founding Fathers. Let’s have a parade that shows the world what has made America great.
