TICK REMOVAL TIPS

Boating - - FIND MORE BOATINGLAB -

• Don’t cover a tick with petroleum jelly to make it come off. You’ll just have a greasy tick.

• Don’t apply the hot head of a just-blown-out wooden match to the tick’s derriere. You’ll just burn yourself.

• Pull out a tick with sharp-pointed tweezers, pulling straight up. Don’t twist to avoid breaking off the head. — Kevin Falvey
