Salisbury beaches RIT in Div. 3

FOXBORO — The Salisbury men’s lacrosse team made it an even dozen national titles for the program with yesterday’s 15-7 win against Rochester Institute of Technology in the Div. 3 championship game.

Carson Kalama paced the scoring with four goals for the Gulls (21-1), whose win at Gillette Stadium was their third in as many tries in the final. Garrett Reynolds and Josh Melton added three goals apiece to the win.

The Tigers (20-2) scored first, just 1:23 in, but the Gulls assumed control soon after.
