Re­becca M. Hen­nessy of Quincy died un­ex­pect­edly Sun­day. She was 22.

She was an en­thu­si­as­tic artist with tal­ents in in­te­rior de­sign, fash­ion and cos­met­ics. She also was a mem­ber of Dance­works Dance Com­pany in Quincy for more than 15 years. She en­joyed play­ing gui­tar, cello, sax­o­phone and singing.

Ms. Hen­nessy was self-taught in the Korean lan­guage.

She is sur­vived by her par­ents Ge­of­frey and Mar­guerite (Hines) of Quincy; two broth­ers, James Neal and Michael Neal, both of Quincy; two sis­ters, Caitlin Walsh and Suzanne, both of Quincy; her grand­moth­ers, Shirley Hen­nessy of Wey­mouth and Rose Hines of Quincy; seven nieces, a nephew, and her best friend, Niki Garvin of Hanover.

A funeral Mass will be cel­e­brated at 10 a.m. today at Sa­cred Heart Church, Quincy.

Burial will be in Pine Hill Ceme­tery, Quincy.
