STARRY NIGHTS: The North End was bustling this weekend, and a couple of notable names were among the crowds dining in the neighborhood. We're told that Demar DeRozan of the Toronto Raptors hit up Mare Oyster Bar. Meanwhile, legendary Red Sox slugger David Ortiz was seen eating at Trattoria il Panino on Hanover Street. Big Papi was part of a group of 10 diners, and the hungry bunch ate a little bit of everything off the menu in family-style fashion.

GROWNUPS TAKE VEGAS: Comedian Adam Sandler is far from his native Manchester, N.H., performing at The Chelsea in The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. While doing a show this weekend, Sandler had his celebrity best friend and fellow comic, David Spade, there to cheer him on. Spade, who posed for a picture with UFC President Dana White backstage at Sandler's gig, is taking on Vegas himself. Next weekend, he and Ray Romano will be doing a joint show at the Mirage.
