Mar­jorie B. True, at 99, court of­fi­cial, of Nat­ick

Mar­jorie B. True of Nat­ick died Fri­day. She was 99.

She was born in Fram­ing­ham. She was a grad­u­ate of Fram­ing­ham High School and Cushing Academy.

She was the clerk mag­is­trate at Nat­ick District Court for many years.

Mrs. True was pres­i­dent of the Nat­ick Mother’s Club, was an of­fi­cer of the civic neigh­bor­hood as­so­ci­a­tion LAK-HAR-TRAS, a mem­ber of the Gar­den Club and a Daugh­ter of the Amer­i­can Revo­lu­tion.

She was a de­voted mem­ber of St. Andrew’s Epis­co­pal Church in Welles­ley and mar­ried nearly 400 cou­ples as a jus­tice of the peace.

She vol­un­teered at the Leonard Morse Hos­pi­tal and en­joyed play­ing bridge, knit­ting, sewing and solv­ing cross­words and other puz­zles.

Wife of the late Charles, she is sur­vived by two sons, Richard of Sun­ny­vale, Calif., and Roger of Fair­field, Conn.; a daugh­ter, Cyn­thia E. Ba­gley of Keene, N.H.; five grand­chil­dren and five great­grand­chil­dren.

A funeral ser­vice will be held at noon today at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, Nat­ick Com­mon.

In­ter­ment will be in Dell Park Ceme­tery, Nat­ick. Ar­range­ments by John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, Nat­ick.
