Marjorie B. True, at 99, court official, of Natick
Marjorie B. True of Natick died Friday. She was 99.
She was born in Framingham. She was a graduate of Framingham High School and Cushing Academy.
She was the clerk magistrate at Natick District Court for many years.
Mrs. True was president of the Natick Mother’s Club, was an officer of the civic neighborhood association LAK-HAR-TRAS, a member of the Garden Club and a Daughter of the American Revolution.
She was a devoted member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Wellesley and married nearly 400 couples as a justice of the peace.
She volunteered at the Leonard Morse Hospital and enjoyed playing bridge, knitting, sewing and solving crosswords and other puzzles.
Wife of the late Charles, she is survived by two sons, Richard of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Roger of Fairfield, Conn.; a daughter, Cynthia E. Bagley of Keene, N.H.; five grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at noon today at John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, Natick Common.
Interment will be in Dell Park Cemetery, Natick. Arrangements by John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, Natick.
