GIRLS SOFTBALL ALL-DECADE TEAM

Here is the Boston Herald’s MIAA Eastern Mass. Softball All-Decade Team, Part 2, consisting of players who competed between the 2010 and 2019 seasons and played at an MIAA-member school for at least two seasons.

P: Audrey Dolloff Bridgewater-Raynham, 2009-2012

Dolloff earned back-to-back AllScholastic honors in 2011 and 2012, winning 17 games each season. As a junior, Dolloff was 17-4 with an 0.96 ERA and 160 strikeouts. She led the Trojans to the Div. 1 South title in 2012, going 7-2 with a 1.29 ERA.

After Bridgewater-Raynham: Dolloff pitched for Southern Connecticut University from 2013-2016. As a junior, she led the team in ERA with a 2.76.

P: Maggie Quealy King Philip, 2007-2010

A two-time Hockomock League MVP, Quealy helped guide the Warriors to the Div. 1 state title in 2010. She was 19-1 with an 0.84 ERA and 151 strikeouts in 118 innings. As a junior, Quealy struck out 111 batters in 110 innings and finished the season with an 0.95 ERA.

After King Philip: Quealy played at UMass from 2011-2014.

P: Kiara Amos Malden, 2009-2012

A four-time Greater Boston League MVP, Amos went 24-2 and tossed 14 shutouts as a senior in leading the Golden Tornadoes to the Div. 1 state final. A year earlier, Amos put together an 18-4 record with a 0.80 ERA with 216 strikeouts in 149 innings. She finished her career with 75 wins, seven no-hitters and a 1.02 ERA.

After Malden: Amos appeared in 70 games for Providence College from 2013-2016, striking out 149 batters.

P: Sarah Ropiak Acton-Boxboro, 2009-2012

Ropiak was 13-2 with 10 shutouts and an 0.60 ERA in leading the Colonials to the Div. 1 North title in 2011. A four-time Dual County League All-Star, Ropiak amassed 224 strikeouts and posted an 0.69 ERA, ending her career with 559 strikeouts.

After Acton-Boxboro: Ropiak spent her freshman year at Brown in 2013 before transferring to Stonehill where she pitched for three seasons (2014-2016), winning 24 games and picking up a pair of saves.

P: Kali Magane King Philip, 2013-2016

A three-time Hockomock League All-Star selection, Magane ended her career in style, recording five postseason shutouts in leading King Philip to a Div. 1 state title. She also batted .500 on the season. As a junior, Magane M was 15-1 with an 0.28 ERA to go along with 160 strikeouts. trikeouts.

After King Philip: Magane pitched at Boston oston University from 2017-2010, 017-2010, posting a career areer mark of 16-13 with a 3.37 ERA. She was also a fourtime fourme member of f the Patriot League eague Academic Honor

P: Lauren Ramirez Dracut, 2010-2013

A two-time Boston Herald AllScholastic, Ramirez was 18-1 as a junior with an 0.86 ERA, while batting .365 with two homers and 23 RBI. The Merrimack Valley Conference Division 1 Player of the Year as a senior, Ramirez was 13-6 with 195 strikeouts and a 0.61 ERA.

After Dracut: Ramirez pitched at UMass-Lowell from 2014-2017, winning 14 games and finishing among the top 10 in school history for appearances (76), starts (51) and saves (3). She was the American East Pitcher of the Year as a senior in 2017.

P: Logan MacDonald Austin Prep, 2015-2018

A three-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic, MacDonald guided the Cougars to the Div. 3 state final as a sophomore, going 22-3, striking out 240, with 10 shutouts and an ERA under 1.00. She was just as dominant as a junior, posting a 0.46 ERA with 10 shutouts and 202 strikeouts in 122 innings. As a senior, i M MacDonald won a third straight Catholic Central League MVP award as she went 19-0, ending with a 72-16 with a 1.26 ERA and 887 strikeouts in 582 innings.

After Austin Prep: MacDonald is a junior at Babson College where she has made nine appearances.

P: Aimee Kistner Taunton, 2013-2016

Kistner was superb as a junior, posting a 20-2 record with 108 strikeouts and a 1.74 ERA en route to the Div. 1 South finals. She also batted .494 with 26 RBI. Kistner was the Hockomock League MVP as a senior, turn turning in a 16-2 mark with a 0.71 ERA and 113 strikeouts. For or her career career, Kistner had a 38 38-4 record, a 1.22 ERA and hit .449.

After Taunto Taunton: Kistner pitched at Western New England Univers University from 2016-2020, ending her

career with a 31-20 record and a 2.40 ERA.

P: Tricia Hansen Mansfield, Mansf 2009-2012

A threethree-time Hockomock League AllAll-Star, Hansen was 19-3 as a ju junior with 0.50 ERA and 190 strikeouts, while batting .471 with 20 runs batted in. In her final ye year at Mansfield, Hansen struck o out 216 batters, giving her a care career pitching total of 542 strikeout strikeouts, 26 shutouts and a 1.00 ERA. After Mansfi Mansfield: Hansen had a standout career at Franklin Pierce Pierc from 2013-2016. When Hansen graduated, she w was third all-time in program history in strikeouts (1 (184), tied for fourth in wins (19), fifth in innings pitc pitched (315), eighth in appearances (60), eighth in i ERA (3.62) and eighth in complete games (29).

P: Ashley Eisnor Medford, 2013-2016

A four-time Greater Boston League MVP, Eisnor struck out 216 and posted a 1.04 ERA in leading the Mustangs to the Div. 1 North sectional finals as a junior. As a senior Eisnor went 17-4 with a 0.94 ERA, while compiling ng 204 strikeouts strikeouts. She finished her career with 58 wins and 771 strikeouts as well as a .400 batting average.

After Medford: Eisnor pitched at the University of Bridgeport from 2017-2020, finishing with 17 wins.

P: Jen Lundstrom Dighton-Rehoboth, 2007-2010

A key to Dighton-Rehoboth’s march to the Div. 1 South finals, Lundstrom complied nine shutouts and finishing with a 1.14 ERA. She ended her career with a flourish, posting a 19-2 record with an ERA of 1.09, giving her a final mark rk of 41-5 41-5.

After Dighton-Rehoboth: Lundstrom pitched at Curry College from 2011-2014 where she amassed a career record of 19-21.

C: Francesca Frelick Austin Prep, 2016-2020

A four-time Catholic Central League All-Star dating to the eighth grade, Frelick batted .569 with 10 home runs and 44 RBI in leading the Cougars to the Div. 3 North title. As a junior, Frelick batted .560 with 34 RBI to pace Austin Prep to the Div. 3 state title. Despite not playing senior year due to the coronavirus pandemic, Frelick ended her career with 183 hits.

After Austin Prep: Frelick is a freshman at Duke where she will play softball.

C: Emily Critch Silver Lake, 2014-2017

A three-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic, Critch batted .433 with seven home runs and 38 RBI in leading the Lakers to the Div. 1 state final as a sophomore. Critch hit .493 with three home runs and 23 RBI as a junior then ended her career by hitting ,419 with 37 RBI, leaving as the school’s all-time leader in home runs with 21.

After Silver Lake: Critch is a senior at Southern New Hampshire University where she has 12 home runs and 46 RBI.

C: Alyssa Zahka Lexington, 2007-2010

Zahka was part of two Div. 1 state titles at Lexington. As a junior, she won the Middlesex League batting title with a .547 average, adding 24 RBI, six triples, 10 doubles and a .581 on-base percentage. In her final season, Zahka hit .705 with seven home runs and 33 RBI.

After Lexington: Zahka played from 2011-2014 at Marist. She left as the school’s all-time leader in games played (216), second in at-bats (620), second in runs (122), second in RBI (136) and tied for third in hits (193).

C: Emily Kurkul Bridgewater-Raynham, 2012-2015

Kurkul hit .535 with 12 home runs and 53 RBI in helping the Trojans capture the Div. 1 state ti title in 2014. As a senior, Kurkul hit .493 with three HRs, 29 RBI and was a defensive standout with a .995 fielding percentage.

After Bridgewater-Raynham: h Kurkul played at Merrimack ri from 2016-2019 where she hit it .238 238 with 11 h home runs and 49 RBI.

C: Erin McAndrews

St. Mary’s, 2007-2010

McAndrews played a key role in St. Mary’s run to the Div. 3 state title in 2009, batting .573 with five home runs, 32 RBI and 16 extra-base hits. She was just ju as good as a senior, hitting .534 .5 with two home runs and 27 RBI. McAndrews concluded her career with 108 RBI and a .504 average.

After St. Mary’s: McAndrews spent her freshman year y at Sacred Heart University In 2011 before transferring fe to Suffolk. In three years, McAndrews batted .440 with 13 home runs and 124 RBI.

C: Kya Enos Taunton, 2015-2018

A three-time Hockomock League All-Star, Enos batted .471 with four home runs and 32 RBI as a junior. She wrapped up her career by hitting .469 with six home runs and 48 RBI to help lead Taunton T t t to the th Div. 1 state title. For her career, Enos hit .430 with 14 home runs and 131 RBI.

After Taunton: Enos is a sophomore at the University of Maine. As a freshman, she appeared in 25 games and had a home run with two RBI.

C: Olivia Godin King Philip, 2009-2012

A four-year letter-winner,

Godin hit .341 with six homers and 22 RBI as she was named a Hockomock H League all-star for a third th time. The catcher was the linchpin li of a Warriors run that included ed six straight league le titles and two Division 1 state titles. She left with w school records for home runs with 28 and hit .447 with 100 RBI.

After King Philip: Godin played at UMass from 20132016 where she started in half of her team’s games.

C: Courtney Casey

Arlington Catholic, 2011-2014

The Catholic Conference L League MVP as a junior, Casey le led Arlington Catholic to a 16-6 re record and the school’s first le league title after finishing the s season with a .422 batting average, .521 on-base percentage, five home runs, 24 RBI and 10 stolen bases. As a senior, Casey hit .541 with three home runs and 38 RBI.

After Arlington Catholic: Casey played at Union from 2015-2018 where she hit .321 with one home run and 48 RBI.

C: Kathleen LeFebre Methuen, 2013-2016

LeFebre batted .375 with 29 RBI in helping the Rangers capture the Div. 1 North title in 2015. As a senior, LeFebre batted .462 with three home runs and 31 RBI. LeFebre started in every game over her four-year career and is the only player in program history to collect 100 hits (121) and 100 RBI (106).

After Methuen: LeFebre did a post-graduate year at Pomfret before enrolling at Saint Anselm. She will be a senior on the ice hockey team.

1B: Georgia Guttadauro Concord-Carlisle, 2007-2010

Guttadauro was coMVP of the Dual County League as a junior, helping the Patriots to the Div. 2 state semifinals. She was also DCL MVP as a senior, batting .468 with 10 home runs and 32 RBI in leading the Patriots to the Div. 1 North title. Guttadauro ended her career with 18 home runs, 111 RBI and a .483 batting average.

After Concord-Carlisle: Guttadauro played at Penn from 2011-2013, batting .281 with 11 home runs and 54 RBI. She was an all-Ivy League performer as a junior.

2B: Tori Constantin King Philip, 2010-2013

A member of two Div. 1 state championship squads, Constantin was the Hockomock League batting champion as a junior, hitting .630 with five home runs and 30 RBI in getting to the Div. 1 South final. lA As a senior, i Constantin batted .300 and had an on-base percentage of .496 in leading King Philip to a 17-4 record this season.

After King Philip: Constantin played at Central Connecticut State from 2014-2018 where she batted .231 with 10 home runs and 70 RBI in 176 contests.

SS: Julia DaCosta Costa Bishop Feehan, 2014-2017

A three-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic, Daas Costa led the Shamrocks in batting average (.519), ), slugging (.861), runs scored (36), hits (41), and nd total bases (68), while also hitting four home runs uns as a sophomore. She hit .506 with eight home runs and 29 RBI as a junior. DaCosta ended ed her career by hitting .556 with 10 home me runs, 34 RBI and 30 runs scored.

After Bishop Feehan: n: DaCosta is a senior on Villanova University’s ersity’s softball team. In 123 games, DaCosta Costa has 13 home runs, 52 RBI and five ve stolen bases.

SS: Emily Piergustavo Milford, 2015-2018

Piergustavo helped the Scarlet Hawks to a Div. 1 state championship as a junior, batting 564 with 10 doubles, six triples, six home runs, 18 walks and 36 RBI and was named the Hockomock League MVP MVP. A fi finalist for Gatorade Player of the Year award as a senior, Piergustavo batted .451 with six home runs and 37 RBI. For her career, Piergustavo finished with 15 home runs, 123 RBI and a .488 batting average.

After Milford: Piergustavo is a junior on the University of Connecticut softball team.

SS: Meghan Gorman King Philip, 2016-2019

A three-time Boston Herald AllScholastic, Gorman batted .432 with six home runs and 28 RBI as a sophomore. King Philip reached the Div. 1 South final in G Gorman’s ’ j junior i year as she hit .517 with 33 RBI that season. Gorman wrapped up a storied career by hitting .517 with six home runs and 30 RBI, ending her career as the program’s all-time leader in hits (133), with 20 career home runs and 105 RBI.

After King Philip: Gorman played in four games as a freshman at Central Connecticut State in 2020, batting .300 with an RBI.

SS: Lexi Gifford Natick, 2009-2012

The MVP of the Bay State Conference Herget Division as a senior, Gifford hit .615. A three-time All-Conference selection, Gifford ended her career with a .485 batting average.

After Natick: Gifford played at the University of Connecticut from 2013-2016. As a senior, Gifford batted .316 and was named to the American Athletic Conference second team.

SS: Alissa Karjel Hopkinton/Apponequet, 2012-2015

A three-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic, Karjel was named Tri-Valley League MVP as a sophomore as she batted .467 with three home runs and 21 RBI, while going i 14-3 14 3 with ith a 1.26 1 26 ERA. Karjel led the Hillers to the Div. 1 South semifinals as a junior, going 12-4 with 123 strikeouts and an ERA of 0.73. In her one year at Apponequet, Karjel batted .425 with 18 RBI and 22 runs scored this season, giving her career totals of a .470 average, 100 runs scored, 92 RBI, and also had 40 wins on the mound with a 0.95 ERA.

After Hopkinton/Apponequet: Karjel played two years at St. Bonaventure (2016-2017), before finishing at Buffalo (2018-2019). She amassed four home runs and 21 RBI.

SS: Jenna Crowell Plymouth North, 2016-2019

Crowell had a monster junior season, hitting .622 with five home runs and 25 RBI as she took home the Patriot League Keenan MVP award. She capped off ff her stellar career by repeating as MVP, hitting seven homers while knocking in 42 runs and finishing with a .683 batting average.

After Plymouth North: Crowell is attending nursing school.

3B/P: Lauren Duggan Norwood, 2008-2011

A three-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic, Duggan was a force at third base as well as on the mound. She hit .568 year with 48 RBI, 24 runs and four home runs as a sophomore, while going i 80D 8-0. Duggan batted .492 with three home runs and 30 RBI in leading the Mustangs to a 22-1 season as a junior, then capped off her career by belting eight home runs as a senior.

After Norwood: Duggan played at UConn from 2012-2015 where she finished among the top-10 in total appearances (109) and innings pitched (454), while throwing a no-hitter as a junior.

OF: Lauren Nelligan Abington, 2016-2019

Nelligan a freshman hit an eyepopping .817 and stole 42 bases in leading the Green Wave to a Div. 2 South sectional title. A year later, Nelligan had a 24-game winning streak and finished the season with a .755755 .755 bbattingtti batting ave average age with 18 RBI.

After Abington: Nelligan is currently attending Boston College.

OF: Stephanie Tardugno Methuen, 2018-2021

Two years, two appearances on the Boston Herald AllScholastic team. Tardugno made an immediate impact as a freshman, batting .481 with two home runs and 18 RBI and a slugging percentage of .709. A year later, Tardugno finished with a batting average of .380 to go with 21 RBI and 28 runs scored, earning a Merrimack Valley Conference First Team selection for the second time.
