POINTS TO CONSIDER:
1. A radiant floor heating system is difficult to install after a floor is already in place, so it is better suited for new construction or if you are prepared to remove your existing floors. If you have a basement or crawl space, however, you might be able to use some of the newer products that can be installed between the joists beneath your existing floor.
2. Before you choose a radiant floor heating system, carefully study the specifications of your floor covering so that you can determine what type of system and installation will work best without damaging your floor.
