For those seeking an exhilarating day on the links coupled with an opportunity to give to a worthy cause, the Calhoun Rotary Club is holding the Calhoun Rotary Golf Tournament at Fields Ferry Golf Course on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
Registration for the event includes 18 holes of golf and lunch for each player. To enter, it costs $ 400 to register a team, and $ 100 to register as an individual. Hole sponsorships are available.
Prizes and competitions include claiming first or second place, two flights, par 3, closest to pin and longest drive.
A $ 1000 One Shot Giveaway will also take place at the event, and it is included in the entry fee. Each player that enters the tournament will have a chance to earn $1000. Proceeds from the event will be utilized in support of the Calhoun Rotary’s efforts in helping the youth of Calhoun and Gordon County.
