Sheriff’s Auxiliary donates to Winner’s Club
According to Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston, early today, Sept. 25, the Sheriff’s Auxiliary presented a donation of $ 1,000 to The Winner’s Club.
Winner’s Club Director Alan Robertson accepted the check on behalf of the local non- profit organization at the Sheriff’s Office. The Winner’s Club is a service organization for children founded in 1968. It is dedicated to “changing Gordon County for the better, one child at a time.”
“It is a great privilege once again on behalf of the Auxiliary to donate to the Winner’s Club,” said Sheriff Ralston. “The Winner’s Club has positively impacted so many lives here in our community for nearly 50 years, and I am proud that the Auxiliary takes a role Left to right: Major Mike Jones, Captain Shane Parrott, Secretary Shirley Woodall, Winner’s Club Director Alan Robertson, Sheriff Mitch Ralston and Chief Deputy Robert Paris. in assisting them in their mission. I also want to praise and commend all of the Auxiliary members who’ve made this possible.”
