Tow­ers crowned Sono­rav­ille High School’s 2017 Home­com­ing Queen

Sono­rav­ille High School se­nior Bri­anna Tow­ers was chose as this year’s Home­com­ing Queen dur­ing half­time fes­tiv­i­ties on Fri­day night, Sept. 22, dur­ing Sono­rav­ille’s Home­com­ing game against Ringgold.

This year’s home­com­ing theme was A Phoenix is For­ever, a play on the slo­gan “Di­a­monds Are For­ever.” Each day of Home­com­ing Week saw a dif­fer­ent theme dress- up day. The Home­com­ing Pa­rade this year was held in the evening on Thurs­day be­fore Fri­day’s game. Af­ter the pa­rade, there was a bon­fire and pep rally

Sono­rav­ille suf­fered a close loss at the Home­com­ing Game by a score of 31- 28.

The special week ended with the Home­com­ing Dance and crown­ing of the Home­com­ing King on Satur­day night, which saw se­nior Matthew Smith be­ing crowned king.

This year’s Home­com­ing Court in­cluded the fol­low­ing:

Fresh­men rep­re­sen­ta­tives Raven Pasley and Kelsee Phillips;

Sopho­more rep­re­sen­ta­tives Mariah Key and Ha­ley Robinson;

Ju­nior rep­re­sen­ta­tives Kayli Charleston and Kelly Rule;

Se­nior King rep­re­sen­ta­tives Gar­ri­son Baum­gard­ner, Trent Daniel, Rus­sell John­son, Tris­tan Key, Matthew Smith and Wil Wal­raven;

Se­nior Queen rep­re­sen­ta­tives Har­leigh Chas­tain, Made­line Fox, Hannah Roberts, Ro­z­lyn Rule, Bri­anna Tow­ers and Kirsten Young.
