This year, ALL Star Fire­works, lo­cated at 353 West Bel­mont Drive in front of The Print Shop, has cho­sen to do­nate some of their pro­ceeds of fire­work sales to Boys & Girls Club of Gor­don County. These “old” friends and many new ones en­joyed a mo­tor coach trip to San An­to­nio, Texas in April. They trav­eled with Pre­ferred Travel from El­li­jay and vis­ited many places on the 10-day trip: Louisiana Mu­seum of Arts and Sciences in Ba­ton Rouge, La.; Mis­sion San Jose/In­sti­tute of Texan Cul­tures/The Alamo in San An­to­nio, Texas; Texas State Aquar­ium in Cor­pus Christi, Texas and Padre Is­land; The Na­tional Mu­seum of the Pacific War in Fred­er­icks­burg, Texas; Lyn­don B. John­son Na­tional His­toric Park in Stonewall, Texas; His­toric Mar­ket Square/ Go Rio Cruises and the River Walk in San An­to­nio, Texas; Ge­orge Ranch Historical Park in Rich­mond, Texas; and the Louisiana’s Aca­dian Vil­lage in Lafayette, La.
