Cape's Holiday Festival of Lights
Ias the largest holiday event between Tampa and Miami, closing Cape Coral Parkway for the local chamber of commerce’s Holiday Festival of Lights. Held the first Saturday in December, Cape Coral’s huge holiday event places visitors among dancers, singers, drill teams, performers, food vendors, even a snowdrift and Santa Claus. The festive celebration begins at 4 p.m. A tree lighting is the signature event of the evening at 6 p.m. Over the past 25 years, Holiday Festival of Lights has Dec. 3, 4-10 p.m. Presenting sponsors LCEC and CenturyLink. Cape Coral Parkway from SE 10th Place to SE 15th Avenue is closed to vehicle traffic. Parking is available at all city parking lots.
