Pro­ject note: Re­fer to photos when form­ing quilled shapes. Use a tooth­pick to place glue on ends of quilling pa­per when se­cur­ing quilled shapes. Tweez­ers can be used to place quilled shapes onto card.

1. For the yel­low flower, cre­ate the fol­low­ing quilled shapes from quilling pa­per:

five from 12-inch lengths of bright yel­low.

one from 12-inch length of or­ange. 3. For blue flower, cre­ate the fol­low­ing quilled shapes from quilling pa­per:


18 from 6-inch lengths of light blue.

Grape Roll:

one from 12-inch length of light yel­low. Ad­here two Mar­quises to­gether to cre­ate a petal; re­peat with re­main­ing Mar­quises for a to­tal of nine petals.

Re­fer­ring to photo, as­sem­ble flower and set aside.

Card­stock: brown, green Ac­cuCut kraft chip­board Michaels/Rec­ol­lec­tions text pat­terned pa­per Quilled Cre­ations 1/8-inch-wide quilling pa­per strips: bright yel­low, or­ange, dark pur­ple, laven­der, white, light blue, light yel­low Jumbo pa­per clips Sizzix Bigz Cir­cles dies (#656333) Die-cut­ting ma­chine Quilling tool Tweez­ers Tooth­picks Scor-Pal dou­ble-sided ad­he­sive Ranger Glossy Ac­cents ad­he­sive iLoveToCreate craft glue

4. Die-cut three 2-inch cir­cles and three 21/4-inch cir­cles from chip­board. Diecut three 2-inch cir­cles, one each from pat­terned pa­per, brown card­stock and green card­stock. Re­peat to cut three 21/4-inch cir­cles. Ad­here pat­terned pa­per and card­stock cir­cles to cor­re­spond­ing chip­board cir­cles us­ing dou­ble-sided ad­he­sive; layer and ad­here cir­cles in pairs as shown.

5. Us­ing Glossy Ac­cents ad­he­sive, ad­here pa­per clips to backs of lay­ered cir­cles. Let dry. Ad­here an as­sem­bled flower to each lay­ered cir­cle. •
