1. Form a 41/4 x 51/2-inch card from white card­stock.

2. To cre­ate sten­cil, cut rec­tan­gu­lar Her­ring­bone Back­ground from ac­etate us­ing elec­tronic cut­ting ma­chine and cut­ting file.

3. Cut a 35/8 x 51/8-inch piece from white card­stock.

4. Place sten­cil onto panel. Use repo­si­tion­able tape to mask off a 3/8-inch-wide sec­tion along left edge of panel; use a dauber to ink sec­tion green (Photo 1). Let ink dry. 5. Re­move tape and mask off a 3/8-inch­wide sec­tion next to green sec­tion; ink sec­tion peach (Photo 2). 6. Us­ing photo as a guide, con­tinue in the same man­ner un­til panel is cov­ered com­pletely (Photo 3). 7. Ro­tate sten­cil 180 de­grees and place on panel (Photo 4). 8. In the same man­ner as in steps 4–6, mask off and ink 3/8-inch-wide sec­tions to cre­ate a crisscross pat­tern (Photo 5). 9. Stamp sen­ti­ment onto sten­ciled panel us­ing water­mark ink. Sprin­kle with em­boss­ing pow­der; heat-em­boss. Ad­here to card front.
