CardMaker - - Contents -

As I contemplated writing this letter, I knew that a challenge lay before me—to introduce change.

I’m sure you’ve noticed by now that your treasured CardMaker magazine has changed—the package is different than you’re accustomed to. There are a few less pages. And, if you’re like me, you’re not quite sure how to feel about this.

Like most people, I’m not a huge fan of change, and it takes me awhile to adjust to new situations and circumstances. But being in the world of publishing today, I know that change is inevitable. We have to revamp our content, and sometimes our package, to stay relevant in this ever-changing industry.

When I first learned that we’d be making some alterations to our much-loved magazine, my initial thought was, “Oh no!” But as I thought about it a little more, I had a change of heart. Despite the change, I’m thrilled that we are heading into year 12 of publication. And that is something that I am very happy about!

As you adjust to the new look of CardMaker, please rest assured that behind the scenes, the entire team and I are working very hard to keep bringing you the same great card ideas, informative technique articles and the latest product news, even though we’re doing it with a few less pages. We’ve rearranged a few things and have added additional Web Bonus projects for you to enjoy. And we’re pushing forward with enthusiasm for all that the year ahead holds in store!
