Thinking of You
Design by Catherine Scanlon
1. Form a 5 x 7-inch card from white cardstock. Set aside. 2. Stamp hydrangea and sentiment onto white cardstock as shown. Use black pen to draw a horizon line.
3. Use waterbrush and brush markers to color design. For a watercolor look, apply color from brush tip of marker to palette; add water with waterbrush, pick up color and apply to design. Let dry. 4. Enhance colors with colored pencils. 5. Use gel pens to color sentiment and add dots to flower centers. 6. Trim image to 41/2 x 61/2 inches. Adhere to black cardstock; trim a small border. 7. Wrap ribbon around panel; tie a bow and trim ends. 8. Machine-stitch around image as shown. Adhere panel to card. 9. Hand-write “ALWAYS” on white cardstock; cut a rectangle around word; V-notch end. Punch hole through tag and tie onto bow with twine.
