Birth­day Wiper Card

1.

Cut two 81/2 x 41/4-inch pieces from cream card­stock. With long sides hor­i­zon­tal, score ver­ti­cal lines 11/2 and 3 inches from left edge on each piece (Photo 1). Ac­cor­dion­fold along score lines, mak­ing first fold a val­ley fold (Photo 2). These pan­els will be the card front and card back.

For wiper, cut a 11/2 x 31/4-inch piece from cream card­stock. Make a pen­cil mark along left edge 11/2 inches from top left cor­ner (Photo 3). Score di­ag­o­nally from pen­cil mark to bot­tom right cor­ner (Photo 4).

Fold wiper back­ward along score line (Photo 5). Un­fold.

Cut a 11/2 x 11/2inch piece of pat­terned pa­per and ad­here to top end on front of wiper.

Punch a 11/4-inch cir­cle from brown card­stock and a 1-inch cir­cle from cream card­stock; ad­here cir­cles to­gether. Die-cut de­sired num­bers from brown card­stock and ad­here to cream cir­cle. Ad­here to top of wiper.

At­tach a piece of dou­ble-sided tape to lower left por­tion on front of wiper. Place card front panel face­down on work sur­face with scored lines on right side. Place wiper be­tween score lines on card front, plac­ing top right cor­ner of di­ag­o­nal score line slightly be­low top edge of card; ad­here in place (Photo 6). Fold wiper down along score line. 7.

Place card back panel on top of card front panel with score lines on left side and ad­here ends to­gether (Pho­tos 7 and 8). 8.

To decorate card front, cut a 51/8 x 37/8-inch piece from pat­terned pa­per. Ad­here to brown card­stock; trim a small border. Ad­here to card front.

9.

Die-cut and em­boss a 33/8 x 25/8-inch Clas­sic Rec­tan­gles SM shape from cream card­stock. Stamp flower and sen­ti­ment onto die-cut panel us­ing black ink for flower and green ink for sen­ti­ment; color with mark­ers. Sprin­kle em­boss­ing pow­der on top of sen­ti­ment and heat-em­boss.

Die-cut a 33/8 x 25/8-inch Clas­sic Scal­loped Rec­tan­gles SM shape from brown card­stock; layer and ad­here die-cut pieces to­gether. Ad­here to card front. Em­bel­lish with enamel dots.

11.

Cut a 11/8 x 37/8-inch piece from green card­stock. Ad­here to brown card­stock; trim a small border. Ad­here to cen­ter panel of card front.

12.

Cut a 11/8 x 37/8-inch piece from pat­terned pa­per and a 11/4 x 4-inch piece from brown card­stock; die-cut left edge of each piece us­ing left edge of scal­lop border die. Layer to­gether and ad­here to left panel of card front. ●
