CardMaker - - Simple Shaker Cards -

1.

Form a 31/4 x 51/4-inch card from water­color pa­per.

2.

Stamp sen­ti­ment onto card front us­ing black ink. Note: To omit the word “happy” that is part of the orig­i­nal stamp de­sign, place a piece of tape over the word. Ink stamp and re­move tape be­fore stamp­ing im­age.

3.

Cut a 23/4 x 4-inch piece from water­color pa­per.

4.

Die-cut cloud edge from water­color panel, plac­ing die 11/2 inches from top right cor­ner and re­serv­ing both pieces.

5.

Us­ing photo as a guide, die-cut grass shape from bot­tom edge of die-cut cloud.

Ink grass shape green and sky sec­tion of water­color panel blue. Ad­here die-cut pieces to card front, in­ter­sect­ing lay­ers as shown. 7.

Stamp girl im­age onto white card­stock; color with water­color pen­cils, blend­ing with paint­brush dipped in wa­ter. Die-cut around im­age us­ing cor­re­spond­ing die. Ad­here to card front.

8.

Place 23/4 x 4-inch and 21/4 x 33/4inch Stitched Rec­tan­gle dies onto water­color pa­per, nest­ing smaller die in­side larger die; run through diecut­ting ma­chine to cre­ate a frame.

9.

Ad­here die-cut frame to ac­etate; trim edges evenly. 10.

Die-cut con­fetti from de­sired card­stock col­ors; place con­fetti onto card front over inked panel.

11.

At­tach foam tape to back of frame, cre­at­ing a border around frame open­ing. At­tach to card front en­cas­ing con­fetti.

12.

Die-cut two leaves from orange card­stock; ink edges brown. Ad­here to card front as shown. ●
