CardMaker - - Simple Shaker Cards -

1.

Form a 41/4 x 51/2-inch card from so­lar white card­stock.

2.

Die-cut 27/8 x 41/8-inch frame from so­lar white card­stock.

3.

Stamp sen­ti­ment to­ward top of solid rec­tan­gle die cut; ad­here to card front.

4.

Cut two pieces from clear fusible sheet to fit on back of rec­tan­gle frame, cov­er­ing open­ing. Place clear pieces to­gether and use Fuse tool to fuse edges to­gether, leav­ing a small open­ing for se­quins. Pour se­quins in­side and fuse open­ing closed. Ad­here to back of frame.

Use foam tape to ad­here frame to card front as shown.

6.

Stamp cup­cakes onto Blend­ing Card; die-cut cup­cakes. Color with mark­ers. Ad­here to card as shown with foam tape.

7. Decorate in­side of card as de­sired.

1. Form a 41/4 x 51/2-inch card from gray card­stock. 2. Cut two 4 x 51/4-inch pan­els from yel­low card­stock. Ad­here one panel to card front.

Cut a 33/4 x 5-inch piece of stars pat­terned pa­per; ad­here to sec­ond yel­low panel. Re­fer­ring to photo for place­ment, die-cut a star from up­per left area of panel.

Cut a piece of ac­etate to cover star open­ing; ad­here to back of panel.

5.

Measure and de­ter­mine where star shaker will be lo­cated on card front; use pen­cil to draw a square on card front, mak­ing sure en­tire star can fit in­side square. 6.

On card front, at­tach foam tape along out­side edges of square, mak­ing sure there are no gaps be­tween pieces.

Sprin­kle star se­quins in­side square. 8.

At­tach foam tape along edges on back of pat­terned pa­per panel. Re­move ad­he­sive liner from all foam tape and se­cure panel to card front, clos­ing shaker.

9.

Stamp Ri­ley onto white card­stock; color with mark­ers us­ing glit­ter marker on star. Fussy-cut im­age and ad­here to card.

10.

Decorate in­side of card as de­sired us­ing stamps, dies and oval punch. ●

1. Form a 41/4 x 51/2-inch card from heavy-weight ac­etate. 2. Cut 41/4 x 51/2-inch piece from light­weight ac­etate; se­cure to card front us­ing re­po­si­tion­able tape.

3.

Us­ing pierc­ing tool and foam mat, pierce holes around edges of card front. Thread nee­dle with green floss and hand-stitch along sides and bot­tom of pierced border. Note: Re­move tape as you go and leave top edge un­stitched cre­at­ing a pocket.

4.

Punch cir­cles from green and yel­low card­stocks. Fill pocket with punched cir­cles and se­quins.

5.

Us­ing green floss, hand-stitch pocket closed along top edge. Note: Use a small amount of glue to seal ends of stitch­ing on in­side of card. Let dry. 6.

Cut a 41/4 x 13/8-inch piece from yel­low card­stock; ad­here to card front.

7.

Cut a 2 x 2-inch piece from white card­stock. Stamp sen­ti­ment as shown us­ing black and green inks. Ad­here to green card­stock; trim a small border. At­tach to card front us­ing foam squares

8. Decorate in­side of card as de­sired.
