As the holiday season approaches, I’m looking forward to tree shopping, food preparation, gift-giving and family gatherings with a new sense of excitement. You see, our family grew by one this past year, and this will be my first Christmas as a grandmother! It’s going to be so much fun to have a little one in the house again for Christmas. Through the years, my family has established some fun holiday traditions, and I look forward to passing those on to another generation.

What are you looking most forward to this holiday season? Is it the full weekend spent with your mom, sisters, aunts and friends baking goodies and treats to share that is the highlight of the season? Is it the search through the local Christmas tree farm for the perfect pine? Is it the evening spent finishing your gift wrapping while sipping yummy hot cocoa and watching all your favorite holiday movies? (That may or may not be me on Christmas Eve Eve!) Or is it a quiet day soaking in the wonder of the Christmas season and reflecting on the year that has passed?

Whatever it is that this time of year embodies for you, it’s our hope that the days are filled with good friends and family, that your celebrations are joyful … and that all your cards are handmade!

From the entire CardMaker team, Merry Christmas! Until next time,
