For those with a new can­cer di­ag­no­sis, in treat­ment or re­cov­er­ing from treat­ment

Ev­ery Tues­day, 1-2:30 p.m. What to ex­pect: Hear in­for­ma­tion and re­ceive sup­port on the med­i­cal side ef­fects of treat­ment and the psy­cho­log­i­cal im­pact of can­cer.

For fam­ily and friends of can­cer pa­tients

Ev­ery Tues­day, 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. What to ex­pect: Dis­cus­sion about the unique needs of the care­giver and those close to the can­cer pa­tient. This group pro­vides an op­por­tu­nity to share ex­pe­ri­ences, feel­ings and knowl­edge and per­haps dis­cover ways to heal and find hope in a non-judg­men­tal, com­pas­sion­ate set­ting.

Living with Can­cer

For pa­tients with re­cur­rent or metastatic can­cer

Ev­ery Wed­nes­day, 1:15 p.m.-2:30 p.m. What to ex­pect: This group ad­dresses the con­cept of living well with a chronic ill­ness as well as the as­so­ci­ated grief, loss and fears. It’s an op­por­tu­nity to share emo­tional

and prac­ti­cal con­cerns in a con­fi­den­tial and em­pathic en­vi­ron­ment.

Em­pow­er­ing Our­selves to Heal

For women with breast and re­pro­duc­tive can­cer Sec­ond Satur­day of ev­ery month, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

What to ex­pect: This is a work­shop that in­cludes short med­i­ta­tions, shar­ing and cre­ative ex­pres­sion ex­er­cises such as writ­ing and col­lage.
