ON SURVIVORSHIP

Survivorship starts at diagnosis and continues for the rest of the cancer patient’s life. Cancer and its treatments change people. I have often heard, “Cancer has been good for me.” It can help people live their life more fully. It can also be a scary and overwhelming time. We encourage everyone to talk with those who have been through or are going through the same experience.
