Can’t Fail Divinity

Divinity candy can sometimes be difficult to make, as conditions need to be just right for it to be successful. This recipe is so easy. 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup chopped nuts (or candied fruit) Pinch of salt 1 tsp. vanilla 2 jars marshmallow creme (14-16 ounces) Boil sugar, water and salt to a hard ball stage. Place marshmallow creme in a large mixing bowl and stir in hot syrup. Continue stirring until slightly stiff, or the mix holds a peak. Fold in nuts, or fruit, and vanilla. Drop from spoon onto waxed paper, or unto a buttered plate. (You can add a few drops of food coloring to the mixture to liven it up for different occasions.) Enjoy!
